OVERVIEW

  • University is one of the youngest in Ukraine. It occupies the geographics location where Mykolaiv port craft school was formed by the Decree of the Emperor in 1862.
  • The University was established in 1996, and recognized by NMC and WHO, and its medium of instruction is English.

Faculties

The university formed a powerful scientific and teaching staff of like-minded professionals of high class, which includes 45 doctors, more than 130 candidates, 10 academicians and corresponding members, industry and foreign academies, 9 Honoured Ukraine and leading professors from the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Romania, South-Korea, Italy, Japan, China, Lithuania and other countries. During the existence of the Petro Mohyla taught more than 80 foreign professors and 15 professors from US universities who are winners of prestigious awards for teaching – Fulbright.

Hostels Facilities

  • The location of the hostel is very convenient as it is located within the close proximity of the university. It is located near the University and surrounded by public transport, supermarkets, and shops.    

  • The hostel building of the black sea national university has 3 floors and it is able to accommodate 150 students.    

  • The rooms of the hostel are designed in such a way that students should be able to live and study comfortably.     

  • On each floor of the hostel, there are kitchens equipped with electric cookers and bathrooms with modern renovation. The self-catering kitchen is also available on each floor that is well-equipped to cook delicious homemade food.     

  • The staff of the hostel is very caring and looks for discipline and cleanliness at the hostel premises.     Students can avail rooms on a sharing basis as 2 to 3 students per room.   

  • Rooms are equipped with study tables, chairs, beds, pillows, mattresses, bathroom geysers, etc.    

  • The hostels also have Wi-Fi access so that students can get 24x7 internet access.

Sports 

  • Today students have the opportunity of free time to engage in basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, rowing, athletics, swimming, athletic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, chess and others.
  • Nowadays students in their free time have an opportunity to be engaged in such sport activities as basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, academic rowing, track-and-field athletics, swimming, body-building, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, chess, etc.
  • If you like being into sports then 13 specialized sports clubs are waiting for you. Among them: yachting sport, underwater sports, martial arts and some others.
  • You have a great chance to keep fit and take part in competitions of both university and local status. All the sport clubs are run by instructors of the department.
  • It can be observed that the level of students’ physical and special skills rose. 
  • Regular training in sport clubs help to increase theoretical knowledge of a particular sport chosen, to improve sportsmanship and health level.
  • There are 3 sports halls and one well-equipped fitness center at University.
 

 

About Mykolaiv City

In the south of Ukraine, the city Mykolaiv is located, the city is located at the mouth of Ingul River where it flows into the Southern Bug, 65 km from the Black Sea. The population of Mykolaiv is about 4,88,000 according to the 2016 census. The climate of the Mykolaiv city is moderately continental with hot summers and cool winters. The average temperature in January is minus 3.1 degree Celsius, whereas in July it is plus 22.3 degree Celsius. The city has churches, museums, a big zoo, children’s town “fairy tale”, etc. for tourists.

Admission Process

Admission Process for MBBS Course

The following are the steps that students need to perform for taking admission to Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University:

Step 1: Students should fill the online application form.

Step 2: Students should send the scan copy of (passport, school certificates, additional studying documents), etc. to the university.

Step 3: Those documents will undergo analysing, if it corresponds to the demand of the university, the candidate will receive an Admission offer letter. If a candidate accepts the admission offer, then he/she will pay for the visa invitation letter.

Step 4: Students will need to pay all the expenses of the college with fees.

Step 5: Once a student is granted permission, he/she will receive ministry approval along with the following documents:

Eligibility Criteria for Black Sea National University

To pursue a degree in medicine, Ukraine has been one of the preferred destinations for Indian students. Following are the eligibility criteria for studying MBBS at Black Sea National University:

Students must have cleared 10+2 with 50% marks (for the open category) from the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from any Board of Examination and 45% marks for the reserved category. Students must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year. Candidates must have cleared the NEET exam for admission to the MBBS course in any country abroad.
